successful participations at DOMOTEX in DOMOTEX: hall 6, booth H63/2 More information: www.multiplot.de 6) Benes: Extreme drying with the new Online Dryer-V
The newest Online Dryer is
reinforced with extra tools for drying. As before, the heating surface
realizes in-depth drying of the ink. Now the system carries a fan on top that
has a steady and controlled airflow that strengthens the effect of the
heating. Normally the vapour is prone to stay above
the media limiting the drying speed. In the newest version, it is carried
away by the fan. The ink solvents can evaporate more quickly, and
consequently the output will dry a lot faster. Although the air velocity
seems low, it is very effective. Another advantage is the possibility to swap
up the Online Dryer for easy access to the take-up roll. Furthermore
temperature and airflow are digitally programmable and like all other Online
Dryers the OnD-V is conforming to international
safety standards (US, CSA, CE). Although currently the Online Dryer V is only
available for the Roland XC-540, in the near future this new Online Dryer
will also be available for HP Designjet 10000. More information: www.onlinedryer.com 7) SEAL Graphics: First European installation of AS72UV

Color+ XV ink
Xaar
has approved Fujifilm Sericol’s
Color+ XV ink for use with the company’s successful XJ-128/40W and XJ-126/50
inkjet printheads. The combination of Fujifilm Sericol’s
high-performance pigmented solvent inks and Xaar’s
piezoelectric technology offers a consistent and flexible inkjet solution for
sign and specialty graphics printers. Developed specifically for wide-format
digital printers, the Color+ XV inks use high-quality pigments blended with specialized
solvents to produce brilliant colors. The inks also feature superior light
fastness and adhesion to a wide range of uncoated materials. In addition, the
inks have been formulated for rapid drying times without the application of
heat – for example, typical drying times for the inks on vinyl are 60 seconds
at 40 °C. The latest approvals mean that Colour+ XV
is now optimized for use with all variants of Xaar’s
successful XJ-128 and XJ-126 printheads. The XJ-128
is used extensively across the wide-format graphics and coding & marking
industries, while the versatile XJ-126 is ideal for the production of a broad
array of graphics from indoor and outdoor signage, to banner printing and POS
collateral. More information: www.xaar.co.uk and

More information: www.continentalgrafix.com or Email: info@continentalgrafix.com 12) Bob Mats: True full color dye sublimation carpet
In
January 2007 Bob Mats will introduce a true full color dye sublimation
carpet. Bob Mats has introduced a carpet which uses a new developed yarn
called PTT. This yarn is a modified polyester yarn that combines the
advantages of polyamide and polyester. Resiliency is the same when compared
to polyamide. Like polyester PTT has build in stain resistance which
polyamide does not have. PTT is also a very soft
fiber and has wool like touch. But most important PTT can be dyed using
disperse dyes = dye sublimation dyes. The Carpet will be available in width
up to 400 cm. Imagine unlimited colors, photo like images, detailed designs,
the sky is the limit. More information: www.bobmats.com 13) Jessup GloBrite® advantage in direct UV cure
